About Us
Welcome to Our HD Story. We're Derek and Hannah — partners in life, travel, and creation — and this is where we keep the adventures, projects, and milestones that make our story ours.
How it started
We matched on Bumble in February 2023 and met over green tea desserts at Nana's in Seattle. First dates at the sculpture park and salsa dancing turned into a partnership — and not long after, an engagement at a cenote in Mexico and a wedding in Hawaii.
Where we've been
Since then we've honeymooned through Japan and road-tripped across New Zealand, scuba dived in St. Lucia, and explored closer to home on two wheels around the Pacific Northwest.
What we're building
Back home in West Seattle, we're renovating our house room by room, raising a backyard flock of chickens, and figuring out this whole grown-up life thing together. We chronicle it all here — the big trips and the small, ordinary, wonderful days.
